Ohhh Sushi! If you are anything like me, you are willing to pay the high price of quality sushi, just because it's worth it to you. Well, It is sooo worth it to me but it sucks when I can't afford it. :( so, I did some researching and found out that sushi is not all that expensive to make at home and once you buy the ingredients, they go a long way! So, I don't claim to be a sushi expert but the rolls I have made so far definitely satisfy my craving and I hope yours too. Follow these simple instructions and you'll be able to enjoy delicious, quality sushi without having to dress up and spend big bucks!
What You will need:
(I bought most of my ingredients at the local oriental market)
Sushi rolling mat
Roasted Sesame Seeds (I got mine at Publix for 1.99)
Asparragus (Steamables work great)
Cooked Crab meat sticks
Making sushi rice
For two cups of rice
two and 1/4 cups of water
4 tbsp. sushi vinegar
4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
