Happy Friday everyone! Today's Fashion DIY is a tribute to our favorite Drop Dead Diva Character, Stacie :) In season two, she invented "the armvelope", a sleeve specifically created to protect the everyone's left arm skin while driving. We thought we would give Stacie's Idea an acid approach :) It super easy to make and made with stuff you already have at home!
You will need:
A dark colored shirt sleeve
hemp cord (optional)
Soak your sleeve in hot water, drain it by curling it tightly and tie it into a triple knot. You can tie it Mix equal parts of bleach and water and let your sleeve soak in the bleach water for five min.
Take out your sleeve knot and rinse it out with cold water. Untie it and wash it by hand with laundry soap and softener. That's it! <3 now go out and rock that armvelope :)
My mother always taught me to be grateful for the little things in life and eventhough IKEA is a huugee store, I guess it could be considered a little thing in life :) Who doesn't Loveeee IKEA? Today at Mashia Crafts, we are thankful for the genius minds behind that amazing store. We are thankful for the beauty of their products and the experience of visiting an IKEA store. But today we are specifically thankful for their Tindra candles. I bought these candles for $1.99 when I first moved in to me new apartment with my hubby and I loved them! The scents are delightful and the colors are soooo pretty. My only problem with the candles was that I wish they would last forever... but they only last 30 hours :( So, after mine burned out I decided to re-purpose the glass containers into glasses. I wasn't sure how I was gonna do it but gave it a try and it worked! I love the way they came out and they make adorable drinking glasses or ice cream cups :)
Aren't they perfect?! Here's how I did it: First I soaked them in super hot water for 5 min. The water looked pretty disgusting but it smelled beautiful so it was worth it <3
At this point I took them out and cleaned out the wax with an old rag.
Then I removed the candle light metal piece at the bottom, gave them a good wash and that is it :)
Lovely right? <3 Thank you IKEA, for selling deliciously smelling candles that can also be used as glasses :)
Did you know that you can transfer laser printed images onto leather and wood with only one tool? Yep! That's why I have recently fell deeply in love with my wood burner! You can do sooooo many things with it! Keep reading and learn how <3

Mashia Crafts, we believe that fashion is everything you do to style up who you are. People may call you crazy or doubt your sense of "style" but we believe that the perfect style is wearing what you want to wear. We love to mismatch, stand out and not always follow fashion trends! Personally, my sense of style is defined by one word: comfy. Whether I am dressed up or not, the absolute most important thing for me is to feel completely comfortable with whatever I am wearing. Today's post will show you how to make super cute Button Bracelets that will add a little color and spunk to any crazy or normal outfit you feel like wearing!
You will need:
Cut two equal strings and tie them at one end. Leave space so you can then tie up your bracelet.
Pass each string through the bottom of your first button.
Pass the string through the top down as shown above.
Tie a knot on the back of the button and pass the strings through your next button. Keep doing the same with every button (I usually use 5 or 6 per bracelet) and when you get to your last one, make a double knot and you will be ready to wear your ooak button bracelet!
Try different colors and combinations :)
Today, at Mashia Crafts we are thankful for our friends. We are thankful for those people that are there in times of trouble and sorrow but also times of happiness and joy. People that take time out of their busy lives to make us smile, lift us up on a bad day and cheer for us in our victories.
We'd like to challenge you today to share the picture above with those people in your life, tell them how much you appreciate them and love them. Take a moment out of your day to give back to those who are always there for you. And, if you want to give them even more, make this super simple tutorial and give them to that special person in your life! <3
You will need:
1 Mini Jumbo Wooden Stick
4 Metal beads
Crop-A-Dile (not sure if a regular hole puncher would work)
Wood Burner (or permanent marker)
Using your exacto knife, cut the rounded edges off your wooden stick and then cut split the stick in half (each wooden stick should be about 2in wide.
Using your Cro-A-Dile, punch a hole on each end of your stick as shown above. I used the 1/8' hole punch. Then, using a pencil write out the words as you want them to be burned. Don't worry about making mistakes now :)
With your woodburner, go over each letter carefully. Please don't burn yourself! <3
Insert your hemp cord through one of the holes, tie a knot, insert your bead and tie another knot. Do the same for the other side and you are done :)
Now, keep one and give one to that special person in your life :)
Workshop Wednesday is here! This super simple tutorial will show you how to make eraser stamps to embellish super cute greeting cards with stuff you already have at home!
You will need:
Using your pen, draw a simple shape on your eraser.
Cut out your shape with your exacto knife. Don't worry about how the bottom of the stamp looks like. You only need one good side ;)
Try different shapes! Get creative with dents and carvings :) Insert toothpicks on the least attractive side of your eraser stamps. Make sure they don't go all the way through.
Stamp away! Also, download the free printable, cut it out, and design your own greeting cards using your handmade eraser stamps! <3
For mine, I also rubber a little bit of paint on the edges of the card using mi finger <3 have fun!
